This modernly designed holiday apartment for a maximum of 2 people is located in a converted, around 450 year old farm at an altitude of around 1050 meters in Fresach in Villach-Land in Carinthia, right in the mountains and close to Lake Millstatt. The house in which this holiday apartment is located was built around 450 years ago and converted into a holiday home by the owner while preserving its authentic character. The holiday apartment is simple but fully furnished and has a living room with dining area, an open well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bedroom, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a garden (shared with other guests). Parking is available directly at the house. Fresach is located in the Millstätter See - Bad Kleinkirchheim - Nockberge tourist region, right in the Alpe-Adria region and offers numerous tourist attractions and sporting activities. Lake Millstatt, also known as the jewel of Carinthia, offers a particularly idyllic, warm and southern atmosphere due to its proximity to Italy. The lake is picturesquely situated between the Carinthian Nockberge, has a water temperature of around 27 degrees and offers plenty of different beaches. Alternatively, in summer the public swimming pools in Paternion and Radenthein also offer plenty of swimming fun! The region also offers numerous hiking trails, bicycle and mountain bike tours, all kinds of events and excursion destinations and a wide range of culinary highlights. You can ski in 3 nearby ski areas, all of which can be reached in around 30 minutes by car, the Sportberg Goldeck on the Gerlitzen, the ski area in Bad Kleinkirchheim or on the Katschberg, with a total of just over 800 kilometers of slopes. Directly in Fresach you will find sufficient shops for your daily needs, as well as a good selection of restaurants.
