Location:
In a wonderful secluded location, in the Hollersbach Valley, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the west of the Salzburg region. As a guest, you are allowed to drive into the valley with your own car, visitors walk from the beginning of the valley from the lake along the stream to the managed alpine huts.

Distances:
Hollersbach with shop, restaurants 6km. Serviced hut where you get an alpine snack 500m. (E-bike charging station). Around mid of May - early September, the cows are on the mountain pasture, they come to the barn in the mornings and evenings, which is located near the hut. Then the farmer delivers fresh bread, if you want alos milk, eggs, butter or bacon in the morning! While milking, you could charge batteries (aggregate). A stream runs through the valley, the path is not steep and therefore ideal for cyclists. There are also hiking trails from the hut to the largest mountain lake in the Hohe Tauern, the Kratzenbergsee. Inn on the lake 6km. The Panormabahn starts in Hollersbach! You can cycle from the hut through the valley directly to the station 7.5 km away and reach in just 12 minutes the altitude of 1892m in the Kitzbühel area! Hollersbach swimming lake with large playground 6km, Zell am See 35km, Krimml waterfalls 30km. You can also fish in the lake (card available on site)!

Equippment:
The hut has on the ground floor: large foyer (ideal to store your bikes), hut room with sitting area and wood stove, oven, gas stove (2 flames), gas refrigerator. Bathroom with tub and toilet. Warm water on the ground floor via boiler that is to be heated with wood (enough once a day). Upper floor: 1 double room with couch if required, 1 double room to walk through in room with double bed and bunk bed. All rooms have wash basins (cold water). No electricity, gas light. In front of the house: seating with a wonderful view to the valley and the imposing mountain walls, barbecue, fountain.
