Our holiday home "Ferienhaus Ottenschlag" is situated in the "Highlands" (850m above sea level) of the Waldviertel, the Northern part of Lower Austria. Close to the famous world heritage "Wachau" (valley of the Danube - wine - culture...), it is ideal to spend some relaxing days, swimming in the nearby lakes, hiking some of the great trails, going by bike or mountain bike, visiting some of the several sights, or planning a day trip to Vienna.In winter you can explore one of the many trails for cross country skiing in the area.The house itself consists of 2 floors, 3 bedrooms (6 persons), a well appointed kitchen, a living room (TV),a dining room,a bathhroom, 2 toilets,an infrared sauna,a small wintergarden (lots of books, also in English, games).The big garden and the terrace behind the house is perfect for relaxing in the sun. Children can use a small wooden "Kid's house" at the end of the garden.A dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed.We are looking forward to your visit!
