Description
This detached old stone house is in the picturesque village of Viškovici on a peninsula on the east coast. It has been owned by the family of the owner for 200 years and was renovated in 2010. The house offers a wonderful view of the sea in the Rasa bay and its islands.
In front of the house there is a 28m² roofed terrace with a barbecue, shielded from views in by a high wall and therefore ensuring privacy. The site is completely enclosed, so pets can run around freely. Relax in the large garden with olive and fig trees, oleander, palms, wine, roses and other Mediterranean plants and herbs. You can park your cars on three parking spaces. The swimming pool measures 30m² with a depth of 1.5m. You are able to enjoy a lovely view of the sea from the pool area. The building work has been finished at the beginning of May 2015. The construction of the pool is supported by the Croatian Ministry of Tourism.
The holiday house with 90m² of living space provides contemporary comfort whilst preserving the spirit of past times. The kitchen, on the ground floor, is fully-equipped with an oven, gas stove, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, dishwasher, mini oven and kettle and is open towards the living room, where you can find a dining table, as well as a sitting corner with an open fireplace and satellite TV. There is one bathroom on the ground floor, the other is on the upper floor of the house. One bathroom has a shower, the other has a bath. The three bedrooms with double beds (160 x 200cm) are also on the upper floor. One of the bedrooms has air conditioning. However, the thick walls of the house (80cm) ensure that the rooms stay cool, even on the hottest summer days.
The holiday house is about two kilometres from undiscovered beaches with crystal clear water, which with a bit of luck you will have all to yourself. Two kilometres away there is also a campsite with a range of tourist facilities. You can hire a boat (licence required) or a boat mooring. There are also a restaurant and a grocery shop two kilometres away. It is 14km to the town of Labin and 19km to Rabac. The location of the house is ideal for exploring the Istrian region.
