Description
Lovely bright cottage located in a beautiful holiday cottages location close to Ejerslev harbour. It was renovated in 2014 and appears bright and pleasing. Combined living room and kitchen. There are 2 rooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with bunks. It also has an annex with 2 more sleeping spaces. The house can accommodate 5 people.
It has an open and covered terrace. This holiday home is only 150 m to the beach with a bathing jetty.
The house is close to Ejerslev harbour, which is an incredibly nice nature harbour and home to several local fishermen and after an extensive renovation, the harbour is now also the area's nature venue. Possibility for trout fishing at the pier and paragliding from the slope. Take a walk around the lagoon, where the Mo-clay rise high and where you can try your luck in finding fossils. The Fossil and Mo-clay Museum tells the story of 55 million years of history through the many findings that have been made in the Mo-clay on the island of Mors. Visit Skarregaard which is an agricultural museum, where time has ceased in 1958. Here are nice hiking trails and incredibly beautiful views of the 2 Skarre lakes. With nice natural playground. It is also on Nordmors (the northern part of Mors) that the island's highest point Salgjerhøj lies and here you get a clear sense of the varied and distinctive nature found on the island of Mors. Hanklit is the most famous Mo-clay hill, don’t cheat yourself for a trip to the top, where there is a view of Thisted Bredning and across the hilly landscape.
Nykøbing Mors (or the city of Nykøbing) is home to Dueholm Kloster (Dueholm Monastery), a local historical museum. The Danish Støberimuseum (Danish Foundry Musuem) which exhibits the old Morsø wood furnaces and stoves. The pedestrian area or the walking street connects the city with the harbour, where there are lots of activities throughout the summer. Every evening at 9:00 p.m. during the summertime, people gather at the Marina to hear a trumpeter plays a Danish music “The Sun Goes Down (or sunset)”.
It is also at the island of Mors that you will find Jesperhus Resort and park, an Eldorado for children and adults. With millions of flowers and playland, swimming pool and a lot more.
