For bird enthusiasts, this house is also an obvious choice, as Agerø is world-renowned for its population of roosting light-bellied tufted geese. Agerø's salt meadows are teeming with life, from March to the end of May, terns rest in their thousands on the meadows, and in the same period the number of light-bellied grebes peaks with approx. 4500 birds. In 1982, Fugleværnsfonden bought the reserve on Agerø. Show respect for nature.
