Jægerhuset. (The hunter house) This house is placed in Slettestrand that is known for its beautiful forest and great beach. From the house you have a very good view over the landscape. The reason why you have this beautiful view in all directions is because the house is raised, so that nothing can get in the way of the view. The ground the house is placed on is cosy with a lot of nature. Still there is space for the children to play in the playhouse, play at the closed sandbox, being at the swings or to play with a ball in front of the house. The house has a nice terrace, which invites to a lot of good hours with the family. This terrace is turned in both the south, east and west direction and is partly roofed. When you come up to the house you will be met by a beautiful and unique red front door, which gives the feeling of retro and cosiness. You will step into a large entre, where there is plenty of room for all the children and extra guests’ footwear and movement of arms. Here you meet doors into the three bedrooms, one with a single bed, the second with two single beds and the last with a double bed and a single bed. These bedrooms give the impression that the children of the owners have being a big part of decorating the rooms, which make them very interesting and cosy to be in. Further in the house you will be met by an open-plan kitchen and living room that has high celling. This is a smart room, quiet spacious. Partly separated from the rest of the room you will find the kitchen, which has everything needed in a kitchen. Further there is a large dining table that can be made larger if you invite guests for dinner. For the late cosy nights it suitable to relax in the soft armchair or sofa, and enjoy the warm from the big wood burner, watch a good family movie at the TV or play a board game with the whole family. From the bedroom and the open-plan kitchen and living room there are directly doors to the terrace. The house I decorated like a magazine, where we see the combination of old and new. Both walls, roof and floors are in dark wood, which dark appearance is broken by the large windows that let a lot of light, warm and happiness into the rooms. Overall you can see that this is a house that the owners and their children enjoy to visit. If you are lucky you may see a pheasant or a red deer passing by in the beautiful nature.
