You have beautiful views over the picturesque village of Caunes-Minervois, a beautiful and quiet wine village with a rich history and several nice restaurants. The village has a grocery shop with a bread deposit, a supermarket and there is a nice market 3 times a week (di-do-za) with all kinds of fresh local products. Caunes is known for its marble, which was also used to build the Palace of Versailles in Paris.
