Description
Cottage in Les Eyzies-De-Tayac-Sireuil with pool
House:
La Bergerie is the smallest and perhaps most loved house on the fairy-like La Borderie estate. Stay in this romantic cottage that features a unique feel and a blessed location. With plenty of privacy, cosy furnishings and a tucked-away garden, it is ideal for holidays with your partner. Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil is a municipality in the Dordogne region known as the World Capital of Prehistory. It is located in the heart of the Vézère Valley, which is rich in archaeological sites and caves decorated with prehistoric art. The famous Lascaux cave is a short drive away and Les Eyzies is home to charming streets, traditional houses and several museums dedicated to prehistory. It is also a popular destination for walkers and canoeists due to its picturesque landscapes and the river Vézère which flows through the town. The holiday home has a private roof terrace where you can start your days relaxing with a cup of coffee. You have access to a communal swimming pool and the chef at heart can prepare delicious dishes in the on-site kitchen or on the barbecue. The estate is used for hunting on Sundays in the low season.

Ground floor: (Living room(dining table(4 persons), stove(wood)), open kitchen(cooker(4 ring stoves, gas), coffee machine(filter), oven(mini), fridge-freezer), toilet) On the 1st floor: (Bedroom with bathroom(reachable from the outside)(double bed or 2 single beds(Duvet, synthetics), shower, washbasin, toilet)) sanitary facility(washing machine(shared with other guests)), camping cot, heating(electric, wood), terrace(private, roofed), garden(private), garden furniture(2 persons), BBQ(charcoal), deckchairs, parasol, swimming pool(shared with other guests, fenced, 15 x 7 m., opened from May upto and including Sep), play equipment, table tennis table
Tips from owner:
On Tuesday and Saturday there is a market in Le Bugue (11 km), there is a very good fresh fish stall. Sarlat (30 km) is a very beautiful town and has on Saturday market in the old town. In the summer season there are nocturne's in many villages ' marche ' where you can eat something on long tables, sometimes with stalls selling local produce. Caves, castles, canoeing etc. There are too many to mention at the local tourist office will get good explanations and there is something for everyone. Restaurant: Auberge Jolie (near), traditional cuisine. Restaurant: Le Chateau (campaign, 6 km), good quality Restaurant: Chateaubriand (Les Eyzies, 8 km), very good lunch menu for approx. EURO 12.50
