House:
Breton stone house from the 18th century in a quiet, unspoilt location just outside of town. The house is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden and is comfortably furnished with traditional Breton furniture. The house has a rustic feel with its impressive granite fireplace, open stone walls and wood beamed ceilings. It is only 1.3 km to the long, fine sandy beach. At low tide you can search for shells or walk across the sand to the marina. When the tide comes in, you go back on the coastal paths. The municipality of Plouguerneau has 18 km of coastal hiking trails that lead past fine sandy beaches, rugged rock formations and picturesque small bays, as well as a wide range of water sports. In summer there are many festivals and exhibitions in the vicinity, e.g. B. the Algae Festival in August. A major attraction is the lighthouse on the Ile Vierge of the same name. The lighthouse is a symbol of the Pays des Abers and, at almost 83 m, is the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe.
