The owner offers space in the garage for your bicycles. You can walk to a bakery with a café, which also has a small range of everyday groceries. It is about 200 metres away. There is a restaurant with a beer garden on the opposite side of the road. The regional town of Wittlich four kilometres away has further shopping facilities, gastronomy, sports and culture. Other towns in the area worth a trip are the Moselle town of Bernkastel-Kues (ca. 15km), Trier – the oldest town in Germany (ca. 35km), the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (ca. 70km), the brewery town of Bitburg (ca. 40km) and the Nürburgring (ca. 50km). You can get to your holiday residence from the north/east via the motorway A1/48 Koblenz-Trier, exit 125 (Wittlich-Mitte), from the south via the motorway A1 Saarbrücken-Loblenz as far as the Wittlich motorway exit, and from the west along the A60 Lüttich-Wittlich. You can also take the regional express train (Koblenz-Saarbrücken) or fly to the nearby airports at Frankfurt-Hahn or Luxembourg.
