Description
This detached and comfortable non-smoking residence, in a quiet location, is in the climatic spa town of Frielendorf. It is part of a residential holiday park that has restricted car access, except for loading and unloading at the house. The lake, Silbersee, is only about 450 metres away. The entrance, the terrace with garden furniture and the garden can practically not be looked into.
This holiday house for up to six people was completely refurbished and renovated in 2012. It has electric blinds, fly screens and fire alarms. It has a hallway with a wardrobe, a cupboard and a big mirror. The living room provides a big sofa, armchairs, a fireplace, a flatscreen TV with a DVD player, wireless Internet access, books, various board games and a big dining corner. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen with a smaller dining corner for three to four people, with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. There are three bedrooms, the first with a double bed (180 x 200cm), a four-door wardrobe, a flatscreen TV and its own WC, the second with a double bed (180 x 200cm), a two-door wardrobe, a flatscreen TV, DVD player and balcony. The third bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200cm), a two-door wardrobe, a big mirror, an armchair and a balcony. A stable child’s travel bed (no bed linen) with a nappy changing facility is available. The bathroom has a shower bath, WC, washbasin and hairdryer.
There is no local tourist tax for children up to 6 years old. Dogs are rarely allowed on request.Since 2021 there is a high speed internet access available.
Alternatively, there is an extension to this accommodation for eight people, by booking a fully-equipped basement apartment for one or two people, which is only let out in combination with the holiday house.
The holiday park has a shop and a restaurant. You can also do shopping, visit a restaurant or go on trips in Frielendorf (ca. 1km), Homberg/Efze with a historical old town and castle (8km), the Kellerwald nature reserve (ca. 25km), Edersee lake (35km), the Knüll animal park (7km), surfing at Singliser See (11km), the Borken Mining Museum (14km), Kassel the Documenta town (43km), Bad Hersfeld (30km). A wide range of recreational activities are available nearby, partly dependent on the season: outdoor climbing park, summer toboggan run with playground and beer garden, small animal zoo, indoor playground for children (Frieleo-Land), tennis, minigolf course, pedalo hire, diving, fishing, wellness paradise (including sauna, swimming, massage, slide), cycle tours etc.
