Description

The Hofstallung Anno Domini 1716 is centrally located in the center of the old town of Marktheidenfeld. It offers cozy apartments that are specially tailored to the needs of longer-term business travelers. Depending on the occupancy, there is usually also the possibility to occupy one or the other apartment as a short-term accommodation. Just 50 meters to the idyllic waterfront on Mainkai and not much more to the marketplace with its restaurants, butchers and bakeries and food markets; so you can be self-sufficient in a few minutes. The Hofstallung itself consists of 2 building ensembles - a more than 300 years old half-timbered barn and the manor house with distinctive timber framing. Both were acquired by us in early 2018 and brought up to date in an elaborate design. The property was completely gutted, the trusses were refurbished and a total of 10 perfectly tailored, air conditioning well-being units prepared using only biologically selected and natural materials. The exterior facade has been preserved, including the wood-loam and the natural brickwork behind. Inside was provided with a purely natural insulating plaster and just such insulating materials for a perfect climate, the expansion itself was carried out with sand-lime brick and in wood construction. The courtyard offers under-storage facilities for bicycles, and vehicles can be parked in the 3-minute, 24-hour monitored underground car park. In the Wagnergasse itself there are only local traffic, which guarantees an incomparably pleasant peace in the middle of the city center. Immediately next to the apartment complex you will find the Mainkai promenade for strolling and sunbathing; In addition, a well-run international restaurant with sun terraces, lounge and vaulted cellar. Just 80 meters above the marketplace, several pubs line up from the Chinese to the Greeks to one of the best brewery brewery houses in Franconia, the Bräustüble. Also bakers, butchers and all other shops for daily needs can be found in the immediate area around the market square.

You can cancel for free up to 28 days before the booked arrival date. For cancellations made 28 to 7 days before the arrival date, we have to charge you 50%, less than 7 days 90% of the price, if we can not re-let the APARTMENT.
