They provide ideal accommodation for sea and nature lovers and all those who would like to enjoy a relaxing holiday amidst pristine nature and far away from tourist noise. Despite the secluded location, you are not all alone here and you can interact with the residents at other holiday cottages next door. There is a distance of about 100 metres between the cottages. You will need a car to get around and there are parking spaces right on site. The holiday cottages are about 1km from the sea and a special little restaurant with Icelandic specialities and a terrace where you can enjoy a beer with a view of the sea. It is about 2km to the nearest long sandy beach and 1km to the nearest restaurant. The nearest grocery shops are 30km away. The cottage is near the national park, just five minutes away by car. You can hike here, observe whales and birds, sail around the many islands and also ski in winter. The town of Reykjavik about two hours away makes an interesting day trip.
