Take a walk along Ballycotton's magnificent cliff path located just 8 km from Wavecrest Holiday Cottage. This cliff walk offers breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Ballycotton Island.
Cork City is a 40-minute drive away, where you can visit the famed English Market, Cork Public Museum & Fitzgerald's Park, Elizabeth Fort, Barrack Street, and Collins Barracks Cork Military Museum, among other things.

Wavecrest Holiday Cottage is a charming seaside getaway that has recently been renovated and decorated to a high standard. This ocean view holiday cottage is ideal for a couples retreat in East Cork. This holiday cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests comfortably:

Main bathroom with separate shower, hand basin and WC
WIFI is available for the guests of Wavecrest Holiday Cottage and towels are provided.
There is a large lawned garden to the front of this pretty cottage which takes advantage of the spectacular views of the ocean and Ballycotton Lighthouse in the distance. During the summer, you and your guests can dine alfresco on the wooden decking in front of Wavecrest Holiday Cottage and enjoy the fresh sea air.
LOCAL AREA AND TOURIST ATTRACTIONS:
Garryvoe is located on the outskirts of Ballycotton Bay. The village is home to the famed Garryvoe Hotel and Leisure Club, as well as a shop and a beautiful sandy beach.
New steam rooms are available on the beach adjacent to the house.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Heating and Electricity:
Utilities are an extra charge at this property and payable on departure to the Owner/Property Manager. The rate for heating & electricity at this property is €10 per day during the off-peak season and €6 per day during the peak season. Should utility charges not be paid on departure, they will be deducted from the security deposit without further notice. Breakdowns of these charges are available from the Owner/Property Manager.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
3. Adults only:
This holiday home is not suitable for children due to its interior design, open garden without a gate, and easy access to the road leading to Garryvoe Beach. We are unable to accept reservations from groups that include children. This house is adult only.
