Leenane Holiday Cottage is nestled at the water’s edge of Killary Fjord offering direct access to the seashore. This two-bedroom holiday cottage offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains.

The cottage is excellent for couples as well as a group of friends. Because of the easy access to the lake shore and its proximity to a main road, Leenane Holiday Cottage is not suitable for young children. Adventure sports, attractions and activities are all available locally and can be arranged for you. Seaweed baths, boat tours, hill-walking and much more are all within easy reach.

Leenane Holiday Cottage Description – Sleeps 4

This cosy holiday cottage is traditional in style with a quaint kitchen providing everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. The living and dining area has comfortable furnishings, multi-channel TV and a wood burner stove.

Pet Friendly Holiday Cottage

This property will accept a maximum of 1 dog. Please reserve at the time of booking via our call centre, as your pet will not be accepted without prior confirmation. Pets are not permitted in the bedrooms, on carpeted areas or on the furniture. Pets must not be left in the property unsupervised and must be exercised off premises. Where the number of pets is exceeded, or additional cleaning is required due to pets being on furniture, carpets or beds, the charge for the additional cleaning will be made against your security deposit.

Local activities include boat tours, fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, kayaking, coasteering and much more. There are many places of interest in the immediate area including Aasleagh Falls, and the Village itself featured in the movie “The Field”. The village provides ample places to eat and drink and the local shop will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €150 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
