Description
Casa Hilla stands on a 710 sqm fenced property, 60 metres from the lake, with a pool (4 x 5 m), a low-rise building and a roofed double carport.
Casa Hilla has two bedrooms with double beds of 160 x 200 cm, a sofa bed in the living room of 140 x 200 cm as well as a shower-bath with toilet and washing machine. Outside of the house, there is a third bathroom with toilet and shower. In the living room there is a large fireplace, a large L-shaped fitted kitchen with all the utensils, a dining table for 8 people as well as a sitting area with a 46" flat screen satellite TV (Astra for German programmes and Hotbird for foreign programmes). The house can accommodate 6 people with the sofa bed. There is seating for 8 people and a great American gas grill on the west terrace, which is partly covered and protected with awning, and has a sea view on the bay of Piona. There is also seating for 8 people in front of the house on the east terrace, which has a stunning view of the 2,600 m high Monte Legnone. This terrace with awning is ideal for breakfast in the morning sun. Deckchairs are available for 8 people.
Only the bathroom in the house is accessible (shower with large door and on the ground floor) for disabled people with wheelchairs.
The low-rise building on the property, which is separated from the house, has a flat L-shaped living/ bedroom with a double bed of 140 x 200 cm, a sofa bed (of about 140 x 200 cm), a table with chairs as well as a small kitchen and a bathroom with toilet and bathtub. Two people, or in the special cases, four people can sleep here. The low-rise building itself is particularly suitable as separate accommodation for children or adolescents.
You have direct access from the premises to the lake via the lakefront property with practically a private (gravel) beach. You can deposit e.g. surfboards in the lake garage. The beach areas to the left and right of the lake property are suitable for dog-walking. A total of four restaurants with moderate prices can be reached easily on foot. Equally, the nearby baker who still does his own baking, and a small grocery store can also be reached on foot. The water in the Bay of Piona is calmer and warmer than Lake Como in general. There is a kitesurfing school in the bay and a surfing school in Colico (2.5 km away). The big shopping centre of Iperal is only 10 minutes away by car and is open 7 days a week. Boat owners can rent a mooring buoy directly in front of the house.
