Luigi Visconti in the early 1900s took over a small winery and then started his own business in the city center in the 1930s. The area was facing the lake and as it benefited from an extraordinary view he decided to build his own home as well. The ground floor was dedicated to the cellars and the production of wine and on the upper floors he realized the dream of living in a wonderful place and creating a large family. The photograph of the 1930s building is visible in the gallery.
The renovation of the building, completed in 2021, also kept the original construction inside as far as possible. There are the stairs in fine marble, the railings with wrought iron decorations, the windows with precious and colored glass and the ceilings of the attic frescoed by artists of the time.

GRAN LUGANA: (green apartment)
The GRAN LUGANA apartment on two levels is a four-room apartment and represents perfection for families. The apartment has 3 bedrooms arranged as follows: Double suite with en-suite bathroom and comfortable King size bed (200 cm x 180 cm), Bedroom with two single beds (200 cm x 100 cm x 80, one of which is extractable) , single room (200 cm x 100 cm), in all the bedrooms there is a high quality Topper on the mattresses. A Topper is a bed accessory that adds an extra layer of comfort, improving the quality of sleep and making the bed even more welcoming. GRAN LUGANA offers an excellent overnight stay for 5 people, to whom, if desired, two more guests can be added using the comfortable sofa bed in the living room. At the entrance we find the living room with the dining room, balcony with a unique lake view, next to it the kitchen in a separate compartment complete with all the latest generation appliances with induction hob. Behind the kitchen area we find a service bathroom with washing machine and dryer. We go upstairs and discover the previously described sleeping area, all three bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and an electrically opening roof for a night ... under the stars. In the middle of the bedrooms there is a third comfortable bathroom equipped with a large and comfortable shower cubicle.
