Description
The apartment is part of a recently restored colonial villa in the mineral area of Elba Island. The villa is located between Cavo and Rio nell'Elba, on the SP 33 road. Part of the villa are: Casa del Gatto and Casa dell'Uccellino.
During your stay you will be able to relax in the quiet and wild environment of the Tuscan Archipelago Natural Park while overlooking the colors of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the red mountains.
Our recipe for the perfect holiday is a friendly simplicity in close contact with nature. You will be welcomed with products directly from our garden as well as with recommendations for the adventures that best fit your interests. The area is suitable for hiking holidays and cycle tours.
We believe in sustainability and beauty of wild nature. The house is surrounded by a few terraced vineyards and olive yard whose products are available for tasting to guests. Production is little and therefore not for industrial distribution but rather for tasting of old fashion typical flavors.
Guest are also welcomed in the different manufacturing stages as well as to eat out of the trees. Every year we set an organic vegetable garden in the backyards and every guest is welcome to take care of it and eat daily vegetables like zucchini, cucumber, tomato, basil etc.
The villa is divided in three apartments: two are listed on the website. If you're interested in booking both of them to have the whole villa for you feel free to ask and we can try to accommodate you.
Casa dell'Uccellino is suitable for up to five people. It has one bedroom with double bed on the ground floor, and one bedroom with a double bed and a single on the first floor. The bathroom has a shower and a WC. There is also a well-equipped kitchen. Some outside spaces might be shared. Ask for more details. This apartment has a woodfire barbecue.
Dogs are very welcomed in our property: please forward you booking request including in the notes the sex of the dog and the breed. We always ask to comply with few basic rules. The dog can't be left alone. The garden is shared and other clients might be afraid. Therefore, the dog must be surveilled and/or on leash at all times.
