Description

The holiday villa renovated in 2005 consists of half of a duplex house, with its own separate entrance and an annexe. The tastefully decorated villa is on two floors, providing accommodation for four people and a living room with an open kitchen area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the ground floor there is the living area with a kitchen unit. The kitchen unit with a fireplace provides everything you need for cooking: dishwasher, gas stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee machine. In the kitchen area, the fireplace and the dining table ensure that you can enjoy meals together in a homely atmosphere. Adjoining the dining area is a glazed conservatory, furnished with two sofas, a coffee table, a further dining table and exuding an open, spacious and light ambience. Here you can enjoy leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun, long relaxed conversations, or simply gazing out over the green valleys and the Apennines. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are on the upper floor. In each of the two bedrooms there are two single beds joined into a double bed, which can be separated on request. In the bathroom bathed in daylight there is a shower. The annexe provides two further beds and comprises a living room with an open kitchen area, a bedroom and a bathroom. The living room has a sofa, a dining corner and a kitchen unit with an oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and washing machine. In the bedroom, the two single beds joined into a double bed can be separated if required. The bathroom has a shower. The building is equipped with independent heating. A cot can be provided on request. For stays of at least a week you will receive a welcome basket on arrival. Check-in is possible until 20.00, with a preference for 17.00-18.00, and check-out is by 10.00. The property is composed of a villa with a veranda, an annexe and the fenced garden with a heated whirlpool for four people. Your privacy is guaranteed: the whole property is for the exclusive use of the guests staying there. The large veranda furnished with a table, chairs and barbecue is ideal for leisurely al fresco meals or social barbecue evenings. You can relax completely in the heated whirlpool, even in the cooler months of autumn and winter when the warmth of the water and the tranquillity of the surroundings have a soothing and restorative effect. Four chairs and two comfortable sun loungers make this a true relaxing haven after bathing. Two car parking spaces are provided and further parking spaces are available off site. You can find shops and services in Dicomano, about ten minutes away by car. The centre of Florence can be reached by train in just 30 minutes by train from Dicomano station, avoiding tiresome traffic. A few kilometres away, near Frascole, there are historical places such as the birthplace of Giotto and Cimabue or Etruscan archeological sites. Bilancio Lake is just 20km away and if you feel like spending the day at the seaside, treat yourself to an afternoon on the Adriatic coast 140km away.
