Description

The villa, built around 1920, enjoys a beautiful and sunny location above Domaso, on the western side of Lake Como, and offers its guests a breathtaking 180° view. The villa was completely renovated in 2011/12, preserving many of the original features, and is now available for short-term lets. The villa has a large garden (around 500m²), a spacious roofed terrace (around 100m²) with a wrought-iron table and chairs, a barbecue and a relaxation area with deckchairs, an outdoor shower and a pool (8 x 4m). The villa has two floors. On the ground floor there are a spacious, modern, fully-equipped kitchen, a large living room with a sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. Stone stairs lead up to the upper floor, where there are two double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the lake. The village of Domaso below and the village of Vercana above are easy to get to via a walking path. Here you will find pizzerias, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, icecream counters and shops. The towns of Como, Lecco and Milan, and the nearby Valtellina valley, are within easy access by car, hydrofoil, bus or train. There are many options for sports enthusiasts: surfing, kitesurfing, waterskiing, sailing, tennis, golf, hiring a boat to explore the beauty of the lake, and hiking or mountain biking in the mountains or along the lakeshore. Those who would just like to relax have everything they need right here: you can relax completely at the villa, and owing to its superb location you can enjoy the sun from the morning to the evening. On request, the owners offer services including booking restaurants, hairdressing or cosmetics appointments, additional intermediary cleaning, laundry, shopping, and arranging Taina and Shiatsu massages at the villa, as well as relaxing massages. The recent refurbishment took care to preserve the typical Jugendstil features of the Lake Como villas of the early 20th century, and some of these were restored: the paintings on the walls and ceilings, the antique furniture in the bedrooms, the interior doors and the original stone stairs. At the same time, a comfortable and functional living space was created, by fitting the kitchen and bathrooms with practical furniture and modern technology.
