You are in a quiet area, with the forest a short distance as well as the lake. Here you can walk, picnic and enjoy nature. Lemele is located at the foot of the Lemelerberg, a moraine about 60 m high. The Sallandse Heuvelrug is located between the Hanseatic city of Deventer and Zwolle on one side and Twente on the other. The area, arising in the ice age, consists of no less than 26 hills, the river the regge and the largest continuous dry heath in northwest Europe.
