‘Smitske-holiday cottage’ Soerendonk -with only 1600 inhabitants- lies in the southeast of Holland, 6km from the Belgium border and 22 km under Eindhoven. The village is surrounded by forests and heath, where you can hike and bike. There are 2 restaurants and 2 cafe/cafetaria’s. Being a very small village, there is no big supermarket but you can buy almost all what you need for breakfast at Jan v. Meyl, the local butcher at 5 min walking-distance. Big supermarkets are 3km distance. “Smitske'’ has beside a livingroom + kitchen a “Dutch-room” (2p) with private bathroom and on the 1st floor the “ Egyptian-” and “ Kenyan-room” with each a 2p settee-bed +shared bathroom.
