As well Calheta beach restaurants are very good with restaurants, the Marina of Calheta beach, its sand golden beach and the supermarket “Pingo Doce” for a big shopping or as well Ribeira Brava town with all services, shops and supermarket “Continente”. The property provided a good base from which to tootle off and explore nearby villages and towns, walking during the day along Madeira's fantastic Levedas and whiled away the afternoons in the secluded garden sun trap surrounded by banana trees.
