A remote luxury villa, but well worth the journey! Don’t say we didn’t tell you. This villa has a remote location and an access that isn’t all that easy. The villa is approached by a 5 km concrete track including approx. 1 km of unsurfaced sections. A four wheel drive would be recommended, although it can be done with a normal car, driving carefully and avoiding the bumps. Once you arrive, you will be amazed and agree that it's well worth the journey. Location and outside area On a majestic hilltop, this peaceful villa is a 20 minute drive from the beaches of Nerja (9 km) and even less from Frigiliana (6 km). From the pool area, enjoy the gorgeous views over the surrounding countryside or just dream away with a book, relax in the sun, and unwind from daily stress. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and enjoys a secluded, rural location. It is accessed by a 5 km concrete track with unsurfaced sections. It's the ideal retreat to spend the summer with your family or friends. Outside meals can be enjoyed on the terrace accessed directly from the living room. The attractive private pool (10 m x 4 m; 1 m - 2,2 m deep) is surrounded by a spacious garden with lawn and a barbecue area. Its location is convenient for hikers; several documented walks in the area can be found on the internet. If you want to take a dip in the ocean, then the beaches of Nerja present a good option. Let’s just talk briefly about the road again. Often, we are asked: "Is it dangerous?" My colleague Maria and I agree to say that it is not dangerous. Nevertheless, we want you to be prepared: the journey will take you on a country track through the mountains, with sharp curves. Also, be aware that there are no lampposts. If you like, we can send you a link so you can take a look for yourself. The first 3 km are available in G00GLE Street View as well. Inside and lay-out This is not just another holiday villa. Both the inside and the outside are well maintained and meant for long term living, creating a very comfortable ambience. The living room is accessed directly from the dining terrace and offers two sitting corners with comfortable sofas, arm chairs, a wood-burning stove, and satellite TV. Interior arches in the wall offer a glimpse of the lovely open-plan dining room and spacious kitchen, well equipped with all the appliances: double door refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, 6-ring hob (4 vitro and 2 gas rings), and washing machine. A shower room with WC and wash basin is located next to the house (outside). The kitchen door opens onto another terrace with splendid views to Nerja and the Mediterranean. Downstairs you’ll find 4 bedrooms (1 double and 3 twins) with fitted wardrobes, one full bathroom, and one full shower room. All the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The high ceilings with decorative wooden beams and the terracotta floors contribute to the high-quality living aspect. Thanks to its location and thick walls, this villa remains cool in the summer with a nice refreshing breeze most evenings. Notes: - A WiFi Internet connection is available (free of charge). - Air conditioning in the lounge and in 3 bedrooms is available (free of charge). The 4th bedroom has a window to an internal patio, reason why the bedroom is cooler.
