Description

On the West Coast, a classic Swedish wooden house, built on a 1519m2 private property at the edge of Bleket, near the village of Klädesholmen and Skärhamn. Here, you can enjoy privacy and a panorama view of the ocean. All this just 5 minutes walk from the swimming area. The accomodations are split into a main building, sized 69m2, and a guest house, sized 14m2, suitable for one to two families (maximum 6 people). At this location, you can find peace and recuperation all year round. You can enjoy the lovely ocean view from two terraces. On cooler evenings you can nestle in in front of the open fire place, enjoying the ocean from the large windows. The furniture is light and modern. The main building contains kitchen, eating area and a living room with TV and WiFi. You'll also find two bedrooms , whereof one with a double bed, and a bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. Three further bed can be found in the guest house, which also enjoys a lovely ocean view. An additional toilet is integrated in the main building. With a short walk, you reach the public swimming area with its sand beach, rocks and wooden bathing platform. Inside 2km from the house, you can find several other attractive swimming areas. Additionaly, Bleket offers a sauna, play ground, a bakery and a café. You can find a kayak rental within 5 minutes walk from the house. From Rönnäng, appr. 2km away (2 minutes with a car, 8 minutes with bicycle), you can take the ferry to the picturesque, car free islands Åstol, Dyrön and Tjörnekalv. The quaint Klädesholmen is reachable in 15 minutes on foot or 2 minutes with a car. We recommend you to try out the restaurant "Salt o Sill". For grocery shopping, you find shops in Sklädesholmen as well as in Skärhamn (6,8km, 11 minutes with a car or 23 minutes on a bicycle). At the Skärhamn harbour, you find the art museum "Nordiska Akvarellmuseet" with its modern art exhibition, with an emphasis on water colour paintings. We recommend you to visit the historical estate "Sundby Säteri" as well as the pre-christian burial areas in Pilane. Gothenburg is approximately 1 hour driving away (68km).
