This unique house is built with Öland limestone and is located on the eastern side of Öland in a small genuine town called Gårdby, 15 km from Färjestaden.
The entrance floor is bright and spacious with whitewashed stone walls and limestone floors. The floor plan is open with exposed beams in the ceiling and recessed dimmable spotlights. The living room is furnished with a sofa set and a TV with chromecast. Next door you will find the dining area and the lavish kitchen which has double steam ovens. The house has two fully tiled bathrooms with shower. Via the main entrance you reach the secluded back which has evening sun. At the far end of the house is a double bedroom and a single bed of 120 cm. The upper level has a furnishable hall and three bedrooms with two single beds in each. Here the ceiling height is a little lower. At the front there is a car park that is used, by the guests of the adjacent restaurant during the summer.
Things to see and do in the surrounding area
In a few minutes drive you will reach Färjestaden with its large selection of restaurants down by
the harbour as well as a shopping mall with shops. There are also fine sandy beaches and mini golf courses. If you want to play golf, Saxnäs fine golf course is only 25 minutes away. For the children you can take a trip to Öland Animal and Amusement Park which can be an experience for them. You can also visit the royal palace Solliden or Borgholm with all its shops and restaurants or why not take a trip to Kalmar Castle. Directly across the street you will find a popular restaurant "Eksgården", which is open in the summer, which you can visit if you do not want to cook your own food one day. A little further down the street you will also find the popular "Gårdby Kafé & Lanthandel".
