Very spacious, complete, well-equipped family holiday apartment in Niedergrächen (ground floor) with unimaginably beautiful views of some three & four thousand metre peaks. A good kept, complete family and child-friendly holiday apartment of almost 110 m2 (previously 2 apartments), just outside Grächen. The apartment has a lot of comfort, a large private terrace of more than 30 m2 and an incredible view. Very complete and top equipped with a lot of comfort for 6 people and 1 baby. Total: 6 beds, 2 bathrooms, baby cot, high chair & buggy, flat own internet and private parking in the underground garage in the middle of the green Valais landscape. More than 7,000 m2 of garden for shared use. Only 2 km to the centre of Grächen (5 minutes by car/15 minutes on foot), bus stop at 150 metres (free with ski pass). Grächen is situated in a very green, authentic, pure Valais environment and has the most hours of sunshine per year in the whole of Switzerland: at least 299 days full of sunshine! The flat is situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps at almost 1,600 metres, close to Saas Fee and Zermatt, Sion, Sierre, Aletsch glacier and many other excursion possibilities. Within 1.5/2 hours you can travel to the most romantic places at the Lago Maggiore in Italy (only for a day or a connecting holiday). But above all, Grächen is a very family- and child-friendly destination. At an altitude of almost 1,600 metres, you have a fantastic view of some of the so-called Drie- & Viertausender from the private terrace. This makes the breathtaking views even more special during summer or winter walks, skiing and boarding on white slopes or on sunny and colourful spring and autumn days. Enjoying the fantastic view on the terrace in the glorious sun or the ibexes that often pass by is also no punishment... In short, the apartment offers everything you could want for a holiday in the Swiss Alps to take home fantastic memories! Summer in Grächen In summer you can enjoy (very) short or long walks by choosing from over 250 km of hiking possibilities. The well-developed network of paths, ranging from easy walks to challenging high-altitude trails to Saas-Fee or the Europaweg to Zermatt, offers a route for every taste. There are also more than enough options for short walks with (small) children. Grächen is really a great holiday destination in summer for children with "Ravensburger Spieleland" (GPS hiking trails) or the "Sisu Family Park" on Hannigalp and also "Robi's Playground". In Brigerbad, at only 25 km, one of the most famous baths in Switzerland, or the indoor pool in Visp, your whole family will enjoy a day of pure relaxation! Grächen offers a comprehensive programme for young and old, provided by the local tourist office. Simply a great destination for families and children! Winter in Grächen In winter Grächen has approx. 44 km of pistes and you can ski/snowboard up to an altitude of 2858 metres. Grächen is every year in the top 3 of the best family ski resorts in Switzerland! Grächen was named winner in the category "Best Ski Resort Middle Alps" in December 2020 (Best Skiresort, Guest Satisfaction Study). The ski schools offer plenty of opportunities for young and old to learn cross-country skiing, skiing or snowboarding. But there is even more to experience in winter!
