Holiday Home/Apartment - 3 persons - Fluhalpstrasse - 3954 - Leukerbad

Rustic room with 2 Bed and possibility to sit inside and outside (Third bed is possible, max. 2 adults and 2 children)
The room is in the old livinghut from the alpworkers and belongs to our Alp, where we produce cheese from end of june till mittle of september with 70 cows. There next by is aou livinghouse, a little rustical restaurant, the cheese-house and the stable.

Special: you could join the live and work on an alp with cheese-production, far away from civilisation, without electricity or internet - but in the middle of europe.

The Alp is situated above Leukerbad on 2000 m, lonely and in an spectacular landscape. You need by food 2-3 hour hiking up from leukerbad. With the car you could drive up to us, on the alpstreet (thats like a foreststreet). the area from the alp is ca. 100 hectar wih waterfalls, hikingtrails, stipe an stony. 

The room is very basic, but "gemütlich", singlebeds and light with candels. The toilet is 20 m outside an Ou could use the shower in our house. The meals are typical for an alp, basic cooked with own produced things. We are not an hotel, our guests eat the same things that also the alpworkers eat. Breakfast with our cheese, homemade sausages, marmelade, coffe, tee or milk. Lunch for example pasta, raclette, meat or salads ... Diner when you only stay one night warm, or normal things like bread, cheese, etc.

you could make lovely hikes roundabout, but for little children it is a little bit dangerous because of the canyons and electric fences (with ca. 5 it is ok)

The weather could be very extreme on 2000 m. From hot and nice sunshine, to heavy rain, thunder or snow is all possible. The nights are normal with 6-7 celsius degrees.

when you come by bus we could catch you in leukerbad, but this is only possible when you stay 7 days.
