The Maiensäss Pundelon is located in the heart of the impressive mountain landscape of Valle Mesolcina, making it the ideal base camp for nature enthusiasts. Here, you’ll experience pure nature. Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Maiensäss offers complete seclusion and absolute tranquility. Accommodating up to 6 guests on a single floor, it features a spacious terrace and several meadows around the house. Pets are welcome. The entire property is fenced, though it is not fully secure for children or dogs-additional safety measures may be necessary. The lower floor includes a small workshop and a storage room for garden furniture.The surrounding area offers numerous activities such as hiking, biking, and excursions to Ticino or the San Bernardino region. Discover nearby grotti and swimming spots along the Moesa River. In Mesocco, approximately 15 minutes away by car, you’ll find various restaurants and a grocery store. The accommodation is accessible by off-road vehicle up to a point above the house, from which it’s about a 300-meter walk with a 50-meter elevation difference.Bedrooms

The Maiensäss is modern yet cozy. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a toilet, and a sink.Technical Features
The property is heated exclusively with wood using a modern wood stove. The cooking stove is also wood-fired, and there is an additional two-burner gas stove available. A water heater provides warm water for the kitchen and shower. Electricity is supplied by a solar system, and water comes from a natural spring. There is no Wi-Fi or TV, but mobile network coverage is excellent.Additional Information
The Maiensäss is not easily accessible by public transportation-the nearest bus stop is about 4 km away. It is rented only during snow-free periods, as winter access cannot be guaranteed. However, inquiries for winter stays are welcome. The property is not suitable for (small) children, as the terrain next to the house is very steep and the property is bordered by a stone wall. Located on the western side of the valley, the Maiensäss is affected by the duration of sunlight.Important Note
Careful and economical use of water, solar power, and wood is essential.
