Villa Shalimar is located in the artists' quarter of Surpunt, the jewel of Susch. The stylishly renovated Engadine farmhouse is situated at deaf end road, bordering the wild nature of the Lower Engadine not far from the River Inn. Hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks are right on the doorstep.

Our house was rebuilt according to building biology principles. The whole house is heated with a wood central heating. In order to minimise electrosmog, all rooms have internet connections through the socket. WLAN is only switched on when it is needed. It is switched off at night.

There is a charming little bistro in the beautiful Muzeum Susch at the end of the street.
There is also a village shop for everything you need.
It is about a 7-minute walk from the railway station to the house. There is 1 parking space available for guests arriving by car.

The flat is also suitable for horse people who want to spend their holiday with their horses. We have 2 - 3 outdoor boxes with run and large pastures.
Thanks to its central location, Susch is the ideal starting point for excursions in all directions, making it hard to beat in terms of variety. Be it the picturesque villages, the spectacular mountains, the national park, Livigno, the duty-free zone in Italy (40 min), the ancient baths of Bormio (1.5 hrs), the beautiful Münstertal, to name but a few. As a winter or summer sports resort, as an insider tip for art lovers or for quiet connoisseurs, the versatility and magic of the Engadine casts a spell over people from all over the world. Apartment not suitable for small children due to steep stairs. Unfortunately we cannot welcome dogs in the attic apartment.

Tourist tax of 2.50 Fr./day per person from 12 years plus final cleaning of CHF 150.00 are to be paid on site.
