The Chalet Oase is located in the village of Pletschen in the municipality of Leuk, 1.7 km above Susten at 750 m above sea level. In all directions around the chalet, there is a variety of habitats with a breathtaking biodiversity of flora and fauna. But not only hikers will enjoy the region,  as there is a golf course, riding stables, tennis court and many other cultural attractions. Families find also child-friendly adventure parks. Two well-furnished apartments (there are two apartments in the chalet) with a total of eight beds (2 additional beds possible) invite you to linger. Each apartment has its own seating area outside in the garden.   Shops are available in Susten: Coop, Migros with butcher, Denner, a bakery, a pharmacy and more. Dry pine forests, quiet ponds and floodplain landscape can be seen on a hike. The Illgraben can swell in a short time from a trickle to a raging torrent. Viscous then, the brown mass rolls to the valley. Then its roar and thunder can be heard at the chalet Oase. The impressive suspension bridge over the Illgraben is only a 15 minute walk away. From the house you can make plenty of short or longer hikes into the nature park towards the Illhorn. By car you will be in the middle of the breath taking mountains of the canton Valais, in just a few minutes’ drive. In the winter time you are close to many famous ski resorts such like Leukerbad, Montana, Val d’anniviers and others.     Excursion possibilities: Countless excursion possibilities in the whole Valais.
