Located in the Square of the charming village of Tremadog is Awelon, a beautifully furnished Grade II listed cottage that has been brought up to a modern standard including Hot Tub in the private courtyard. To comfortably sleep up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, the ample living space should make for a great destination for any travelling families or couples, with so many amenities on your doorstep, this is a great base from which to explore Porthmadog and its surrounding areas - The Snowdonia National Park but a strides away and the harbour town of Porthmadog 10 minutes walk with its array of shops, tea rooms and Links Golf course. With some spectacular beaches within a 15 minute drive, pretty Portmeirion and Harlech and its castle, this makes a wonderful year-round holiday location for all.
Upon entering Awelon, you are welcomed into a snug/living room area, where the warm glow of the log burner makes cosy those colder evenings. Comfortable seating and elegant décor makes this a home from home to relax. Heading through to the fully equipped kitchen, with Belfast sink and another log burner, leads on to the dining area to host 10, whilst there are a host of restaurants to frequent should you not cook up a feast!
A useful utility room sits off the dining area with further amenities to ensure you have all you should need for a relaxing stay. The dining areas French doors open out to the private courtyard and has seating for all, and a BBQ and hot tub makes for fun evenings regardless of the occasion!
The five bedrooms share the upstairs areas, a Queen sized bed in the master bedroom, in addition to a double room, family bathroom and bunk room on the 1st floor while a further two double ensuite rooms can be found on the upper floor.
Booking Conditions:
- The top floor double rooms have sloped roofs and therefore limited headspace, not suited to taller guests!
- Free on street parking
- One, small, well-behaved and non-shedding dog welcome.
